The VD961A, known as the Magna Sensor, is of a new generation of electronic sensors which do the job of a loop detector, except better and more reliably. Reads cards and tags on Manchester protocol, such as Came TST01, TAG, or PCT. The selector sends the data to a control panel or card processor. Both processing device will need a R700 card to comunicate with the reader. The selector does not store any data, so data cannot be stollen with the reader, the reader can be changed without loosing data, and the gate cannot be activated from the wires to the reader.

There is a blue backlight behind the sensitive area.

The VD955 can be used as either a safety loop or free exit probe detector. It should not be used as a safety loop if used with a Free Exit Probe. 

The VD955 includes a VD.CI Interface board, to work with most gate automation control panels.

Used for hold to run applications such as roller shutter opening and closing. Hold to run is also required for automation where safety is critical, and the operator is required to to have visual contact with the risk zone.
