The VD955 can be used as either a safety loop or free exit probe detector. It should not be used as a safety loop if used with a Free Exit Probe. 

The VD955 includes a VD.CI Interface board, to work with most gate automation control panels.

The VD961A, known as the Magna Sensor, is of a new generation of electronic sensors which do the job of a loop detector, except better and more reliably.
